Not much into writing about myself; sorry.

However, a few tidbits:

I've been in the computer biz since 1978, most recently with Sun Microsystems from 1994 through 2006. During that time I've worked on business applications, operating system internals, software maintenance tools, system administration, and probably other things I'm forgetting. I've worked on everything from microcontrollers (for fun), through palmtops (also for fun), PCs, up to mainframes, but mostly PCs.

I was born in 1961 and I have three kids, born in 1998, 2002, and 2004.
