Jorrit van der Kooi

Jorrit van der Kooi (born August 8, 1972) is a Dutch American film and TV director and presenter. He lives in both Los Angeles and the Netherlands.

He came to America for the first time in 1993 when he made a documentary about Elvis Presley and his manager Colonel Parker in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2001 he sold his own idea for a TV show: "Rodeo Drive". It is about the life of millionaires in Beverly Hills. It was sold to Dutch national TV and broadcast during the 2001 season. Jorrit hosted and directed this 10 episode series. After this he became an established director for many prime time TV shows in the Netherlands. At the same time he is working through his own productioncompany as a television and film director in Hollywood.
