Jordi Ausàs i Coll (born March 3, 1960 in La Seu d'Urgell, Alt Urgell) Is a catalan politician, Mayor of La Seu d'Urgell since 2003 and Minister of Governance and Public Administration of Catalonia since March 11, 2008, he is a member of Republican Left of Catalonia.
He is teacher of catalan in the University of Barcelona, he was a director of the Andorran School of Escaldes-Engordany in the Principality of Andorra.
Since 2003 he is the Mayor of La Seu d'Urgell, in the Province of Lleida, he was reelected on May 27, 2007. Since November 30, 1995 he is Deputy in the Parliament of Catalonia from Lleida (From the unrecognized Vegueria of Alt Pirineu. He was the president of the Commission of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries (November 29, 1999 - December 17, 2003).
In the Spanish general election, 2008 he was a candidate from Lleida, he was lost by José Ignacio Llorens, the candidate of the People's Party.
On March 10, 2008, Joan Puigcercós i Boixassa resigned, and he was elected for succeeded him.
