Jordan is probably most famous for her portrayal of Lizzie MacDonald on Life with Derek. Her past roles in other movies are in The Pacifier as a Firefly (girl scout) and The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio as Tuff Ryan at 9 years old. She also starred in Santa Baby as Amelia. Jordan is in seventh grade as of September 2007. Jordan attends school in Woodbridge Ontario. Her school is named Blue Willow. Since Life with Derek is shot sometimes during the school year, Jordan, Ariel Waller and Daniel Magder have to balance being actors and students. She said, "It isn't always easy being me. But for the most part, I wouldn't trade it for the world." (from her official site).

Jordan Todosey got clear braces on her teeth in May of 2007. She hoped the writers of Life with Derek would find some way to write it into the script, but because they were clear, the writers stated they were "hardly noticeable" and did not mention Jordan's character, Lizzie, getting braces.[citation needed] Jordan has a younger brother Alex, born on December 1, 1998, a younger sister Shannon, born February 9, 2000, and 2 older identical twin sisters Stephanie and Chelsea born February 13, 1991.[citation needed]
