Jordan Serlin

Jordan Serlin was born in Glens Falls, New York in 1971. He is an alum of Northfield Mount Hermon, and attended the University of Southern California.

Jordan Serlin most recently served as President of Cenuco, Inc., a division of Ascendia Brands. Cenuco is a leading pioneer in cellular software services, specifically live video transmission onto cellular handsets from closed circuit television systems. Serlin served in this post since 2003. The company moved to the American Stock exchange in 2004, under Serlin's direction, reaching nearly $100 million in market value. During his time with Cenuco, Jordan was responsible for garnering GSA Multiple Award Winner contractor status with the Federal Government
He is also currently is a Council Member with the Gerson Lehrman Group, a leading think-tank composed of noted executives, physicians, scientists, engineers, attorneys, and other professionals who deliver expertise and decision-making assistance to business, government and investment leaders globally. Jordan Serlin also serves on the Board of Directors of Technologies Holdings, Inc., a development company focused on home convergence technologies. Serlin serves currently as an Advisory Board Member for Red Reef Labs (OTC: RRLB). He is also an Advisory Board Member for Ignite Venture Partners in San Francisco, and a partner with Ford Allen - a private equity firm - based in Miami, Florida. Serlin also serves on the Board of Directors of Von Dutch Kustom Cycles - based in Los Angeles, California.
Serlin also holds the designation of "Certified in Homeland Security" (CHS) level III from the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security. Through ABCHS and the ACFEI organization he has been assigned to the following National Emergency Response Teams: Communications, Emergency Management, Oil & Hazmat Response, and Energy.

Named one of Silicon Alley Reporter's "Top Internet Entrepreneurs to Watch" in the 1990s, Serlin served as the Chief Marketing Officer for FortuneCity.com, helping to guide that firm to a $400 million Initial Public Offering, and a revenue sharing engagement with Time Warner, Inc., valued in excess of $100 million. Serlin was also the founding CEO for WeMedia.com, the world's first Internet portal for people with disabilities. He sold his interest in the company to a group of investors in 1999 for a non-published amount.

From 1999-2001, and since leaving his Cenuco post, Serlin served as a Venture Consultant, working with a number of high profile global Venture Capital firms. Specifically, he has operated as a turn-around specialist for problematic technology companies. During this period, Serlin helped manage fundraising deals totaling more than $150 million for technology organizations, while saving an estimated $250 million in shareholders' equity caused by underperforming companies.

After 2001, Jordan Serlin became the U.S. CEO for privately held London-based Tenestra, Inc., a leading supplier of wireless digital video recording security systems. Customers ranged from the British Customs Service, Polish Customs Service, BMW, Pelcor, United States Transportation Security Administration, and United States Department of Homeland Security. With plans for an Initial Public Offering, Serlin instead helped to package and sell Tenestra's global operations to General Electric for an undisclosed sum.
