Jordan Lynne Pruitt (born on May 19, 1991 in Loganville, Georgia), is an American pop singer-songwriter signed to Hollywood Records.

Pruitt started singing in church, in which her father was the music minister. She began writing Christian-themed songs at age nine. She performed for years around the Atlanta area.

She was discovered when she was 13 years old by a producer in Franklin, Tennessee, where she soon relocated. Her debut single, "Outside Looking In," was featured in the Disney Channel Original Movie Read It and Weep; it also appeared on the album Girl Next. She covered the Sister Sledge hit "We Are Family" for the movie Air Buddies and her newest single "Jump to the Rhythm" was featured in the Disney Channel movie Jump In! Her debut album, No Ordinary Girl, was released on February 6, 2007. The album debuted and peaked at #64 on the Billboard 200 with 14,000 copies sold in its first week of sales.

Pruitt was a singer on the Radio Disney Incubator tour, a special guest opening act on The Cheetah Girls' The Party's Just Begun Tour, and was the opening act for High School Musical: The Concert. She toured summer 2007 with The Jonas Brothers, Raven-Symone, Drake Bell and Corbin Bleu. She is also a songwriter and co-wrote all of the songs on the album No Ordinary Girl, except for "We Are Family" and "Jump To The Rhythm". Jordan has finished recording her sophomore album "Permisson To Fly", (confirmed on her myspace blog) she has completed 15 tracks. It is set for a Limited Too release in July, an iTunes release in August and a physical release in September 2008[1]. Five tracks include Back To The Way It Was (or I Wanna Go Back), One Love (also the first single), Unconditional, I'm Gone and Shoes. All of which can be found on Youtube

According to her latest MySpace blog, the first single has been chosen as 'One Love' . The song can now be heard on her official music myspace.[2]
