[edit] Warnings

[edit] September 2007

  1. Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Some of your recent edits, such as those you added to July 9, have been considered unhelpful or unconstructive and have been reverted or removed. The article that you edited has notability guidelines for the addition of birthdays and deaths to the list. The guidelines can be found as comments in the list and they suggest that only names that have corresponding Wikipedia articles are eligible for the list. Thank you. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 02:09, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Rootstein-logo.jpg

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Rootstein-logo.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 16:41, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Adel Rootstein

Hi Jondennis. I removed the text you added to Adel Rootstein for a number of reasons. As I indicated on the article's talk page, the text was copied essentially verbatim for the Adel Rootstein website. This is a copyright violation and in violation of WP:Copyright, even if you are the webmaster of the website. To use the material from the website, copyright would either have to be explicitly disclaimed on the website, or, barring that, Wikipedia would have to be granted a license to use the work under certain terms (see Wikipedia:Copyright#Using_copyrighted_work_from_others.

Copyright issues aside, the text was very "promotional" and likely would be considered spam. For more information, see this. As you are affiliated with the company, editing the article would be a conflict of interest and is strongly discouraged. Please take a look at some of the Wikipedia policies linked above for more info (and of course, you can always ask myself or others) :). ~ Danelo (talk) 05:39, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
