[edit] Dissertation

On 2007-05-22 Special:Contributions/193.52.23.134 changed the subject of the dissertation from Leibniz to Marx, saying "I am Jon Elster. My dissertation was on Marx, not on Leibniz". But this meant the page no longer mentioned Elster's work on Leibniz. In my edit of 2007-08-07 I added a reference to Elster's book on Leibniz, saying "maybe his thesis wasn't about Leibniz, but his first book was". Perhaps misinterpreting my comment, someone has subsequently reverted the subject of the dissertation back to Leibniz. I'm sorry, but it was definitely Marx, and I have now found a source to confirm this. --RichardVeryard (talk) 10:02, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
