Jonathan Jimena Siason is a 26-year-old Filipino writer who hails from Zamboanga City. He is currently finishing his MFA degree in Creative Writing at the De La Salle University-Manila. His stories have seen print in national publications like Philippine Graphic and the Philippines Free Press, as well as reputable anthologies which include Malate, Dapitan, The Literary Apprentice, Heartbreak: Love Stories, Bul-Ol: Stories for Children, and Philippine Speculative Fiction Volume 2 edited by Dean Francis Alfar. In 2006, he was shortlisted for the Romeo Forbes Prize for Children's Literature.
Jonathan Jimena Siason is a part-time college professor at the Ateneo de Zamboanga University.
