Jon Couture is the guy who sits next to Ed Collins at the Standard-Times in New Bedford, MA.
Couture was able to secure the cubicle next to Collins some time before he became assistant sports editor at The Standard-Times, a newspaper in New Bedford, Massachusetts. In addition to his editing duties, Jon covers the Boston Red Sox for the paper. He also provides impressions that range from pretty good to terrible.
Jon previously worked as an Assistant News Editor and webmaster at The Daily Free Press, the independent student newspaper at Boston University. While there, he made ridiculous demands, including preventing a news assignment editor further bites from a salad until he finished making phone calls.

Jon, who dearly loves cool, fresh water, has also made a number of appearances on Comcast Network sports programming, most notably the former Sports Pulse with Ed Berliner.
