A tag has been placed on That Space Kidd, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. WhaleyTim 11:31, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] That Space Kidd
Hi there Jonathan,
I note that you added a 'hang on' to That Space Kidd in response to my speedy delete - that's fine, but it is not considered good practice to remove the speedy delete tag on pages you have created. I'm looking forward to seeing your justication as to why your BEBO page should be considered for inclusion in Wikipedia.
Cheers

[edit] Editing my user page
Hi there again,
I notice that you edited my user page. Although there is nothing to prevent you doing this, it is not generally considered to be a polite thing to do. If you have any comments or questions it is best to put them on my talk page here User_talk:WhaleyTim.
I’m sorry if you are aggrieved that your article was deleted. However Wikipedia has well defined criteria as to what is an acceptable article (see guidelines for notability ), and it seemed clear to me (and others) that your article did not meet these criteria. I’m afraid that being a descendent of a notable person does not (in Wikipedia terms) confer notability on you. I’m sure that with a few moments reflection you will see that as the number of our ancestors doubles with each generation we go back, and that in any point of history that there is a finite population, that it is likely that we are all, knowingly or unknowingly, related to a notable person.
If you wish to post information about yourself on Wikipedia the place to do it is on your user page.
Best regards
