[edit] Welcome

Hello, Johnfund, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} and your question on your user talk page, and someone will show up shortly to answer. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page.

I see that you have edited our article on John Fund. Are you "the" John Fund? If so, please be advised that Wikipedia discourages people from editing articles about themselves. (On the other hand, your edits so far seem perfectly innocuous to me.) If not, under our Wikipedia:Username policy, we would prefer you to change your username. (Wikipedia is a big project, with lots of rules. One of the most important is that new editors are not expected to understand all the rules immediately!)

The best way to answer this question is to click on the "edit this page" and add text to the end of the page.

You might also be interested in the edit history for that article. You will see that I (User:Chris Chittleborough) have edited it quite a few times.

Once again, welcome to Wikipedia! CWC(talk) 09:29, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
