Regarding Owney Madden. Along with the rest of the article the early years of Owen Madden has no references/sources. It is possible that some/all of this is myth. I had remembered reading many years ago that Owney Madden came from Leeds in Yorkshire. So I obtained the 1901 census data for Owen Madden and sure enough the only entry was for a 10 year old "inmate" of 26 Springfield Terrace, Leeds, Yorkshire (born in Leeds). I don't know if the term "inmate" implies a criminal incarceration but it could be indicative of his future career. The report also mentions Owen's older brother Martin as living at the same address.

My question is can I / should I edit the Madden page as this is original research ?

[edit] List of Catholics
Sorry about that. The user that added him to the list is known for listing people as Catholic who either have no known religious affiliation (ie Marty McFly from Back to the Future) or who are some other religion, turning Protestants into Catholics. He is a known vandalizer. I assumed that since all of his other edits were vandalism, that this must have been also. I guess I made a mistake. He must have made one legitimate edit. [edit] Regarding Boxrec and John Duddy
Mr. Shep - Why do you remove our posts on Boxrec in regards to John Duddy's nationality and not even care to debate the issue with us? I would be more than happy to discuss the issue with you further via e-mail if you prefer. Jobjobjob 08:41, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
