Sorry about the lack of references. I couldn't find any with a cursory internet search, but decided to be bold, and just see what happens.

I heard of Johnson's Corner many years ago from my father, who was one of the troops who made the flight during WWII.

Perhaps I could enquire at military trivia sites, or look at old US Army publications.

In any case, I am done for now and for several days. I have to work.
