[edit] Notability?

Frankly, this article seems non-notable to me. At best this person deserves a passing mention in a sub-section of Late Show with David Letterman. Thoughts? Telestylo 09:02, 7 November 2005 (UTC)

Is he even a real person with name Johnny Dark, or is he just a character on the late show?? i cant tell after reading the article. --84.47.58.93 20:47, 11 February 2006 (UTC)Insertformulahere

Well, he's definitely notable, as I've seen him around for years. Unfortunately I don't know enough about him to fill in any biographical details, even whether it's his real name or not (though I know he's gone by that name prior to the recent Letterman appearances). My impression is that he's one of those "comic's comics" like Steve Sweeney, one of those guys who comedians are all enthralled with but who hasn't had huge mainstream success. Johny Dark is a REAL person and a great comic. I recall seeing him many times on the stage when he traveled as the opening act for Engelbert Humperdinck in the 80's. I have lost track of him and hope to catch up to him some day in the future. It would seem that there could be a better biography for him tho. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.53.168.71 (talk) 19:14, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
