SOMEONE HAS DEEPLY CONFUSED AND CONFLATED TWO DIFFERENT JOHN TIERNEYS

ONE IS A NYT COLUMNIST ANOTHER IS A PROFESSOR AND RED BAITER

THEIR POLITICS ARE NOT DISSIMILAR BUT THEY'RE NOT THE SAME GUY

That other commenter is right. John J. Tierney Jr., a conversative author currently employed as professor, is the guy likening liberal protesters to communists. I've added him to the dissambiguation page and removed the confused references to him. There's a short bio of him here: http://www.iwp.edu/faculty/facultyID.8/profile.asp
