[edit] Critisism
Despite over five million albums sold and numerous sold-out concert appearances, Tesh has been the subject of heavy criticism among various listeners.[1] As with other artists who fall into the jurisdiction of "adult contemporary instrumental" or "smooth" music (such as Kenny G and Yanni) Tesh has been the brunt of considerable outlash from many who consider his music to be "trite" and "cheesy", even if generally "innocuous".[2][3][4]
This section needs discussion before adding back in. Firstly, reference #2 is a blog, invalid reference; #3 is not a professional review; and regarding reference #4 - the phrase used in that reference is "LUSH, TRITE MELODY", I did not find the word "CHEESY" used, and "which makes the addition of this paragraph completely one-sided POV. It would be a good section to have, but all views regarding his music, bad AND good, must be included, and not written by twisting the words around from the references used to form a different meaning. Tesh is a joke. Too bad for Wiki's "fear of libel" policy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.205.209.100 (talk) 02:37, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Since when is John Tesh an Alien?
I think stating that John Tesh is an alien who is going to call his mothership is unproven. Perhaps it should be taken out of the article.

There was a serious group of people in the 1990's who regularly picketed Tesh concerts. They called themselves NATAS, "Satan" backwards, or the National Anti-Tesh Action Society. There's a video on YouTube from a newscast:[5]
