[edit] WP:MILHIST Assessment

This is a decent article for length and detail. But on organization and writing style, I must say I feel like it sounds more like an "About the Author" than an encylopedia article. Craven's academic qualifications do not belong in the introduction, as they do not summarize who he is or why he is historically/academically significant. With just a bit of reorganization and copy-editing for encyclopedic (academic) writing style, this can quickly become a very solid article, perhaps even B-class. LordAmeth 00:06, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
