Ark30inf, I have a minor suggestion for improving this article. As a general rule, It is useful to indicate in the opening paragraph what is notable about the subject of the article. I had never heard of McClellan, and in this piece, I have no sense of what was signficant about him; why there is an encyclopedia article about him. For example, gleaning from sentences further down, you might say:

McClellan was best-known for investigating numerous cases of government corruption including numerous defense contractors and Texas financier Billie Sol Estes.

or

McClellan was a participant of the famous Army-McCarthy Hearings and renowned for leading a Democratic walkout of that subcommittee in protest of Senator Joseph McCarthy's conduct in those hearings.

or something else. Please see the intro to J. William Fulbright for an example.

Obviously, what you say here may reflect your POV, but that is ok; offer the information. If someone finds it too egregious or knows better, it will be modified or an alternative POV will be added. I know NPOV is something we all strive toward, but a certain amount of POV is inevitable, and articles with none at all have no soul. -- Viajero 09:24, 6 Oct 2003 (UTC)
