The result of the proposal was no move per User:Bkonrad - While the John Henry of folklore is fairly well known, it seems far too common a name not be a disambiguation page. JPG-GR (talk) 19:11, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

Hmmm, isn't John Henry the folklore character more notable than the rest of these jokers put together? Couldn't we, therefore, move this article to John Henry (disambiguation) and switch that article in here? Isn't John Henry, the subject of the song, a real person? I'm pretty sure he is (was.)Buskertype 01:01, 18 December 2005 (UTC)
