[edit] Mode of notability

To say that JF is "widely thought to be the most famous living authority on ..." doesn't sound quite encyclopedic enough. Either he is "widely regarded as the most authoritative living writer/scholar/theorist of ... " or he is "the most famous living authority on ... " would do the trick, but not the current formulation. Eyedubya (talk) 06:23, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
