Good work. Can you find stuff on "Flounder" and the rest of the crew?

http://www.allbookstores.com/browse/Author/Dolan%2C%20John and http://www.allbookstores.com/browse/Author/Dolan%2C%20John%20P. what's with the photo credits? is he a photographer too? Dsol 23:20, 9 September 2005 (UTC)

I think it's a middle initials thing. Look at the results of this search for example. I guess he's Dolan, John C? That's the credit on Slave, 1998 on page 2 anyway. Dsol 23:29, 9 September 2005 (UTC)

Fellows. John Carrol Dolan is married to Kathleen Dolan. Do note that. And a lot of his stuff is on the last link in the external links page.

He seems to have changed the way he writes his name throughout the years. I've seen it as John C. Dolan, John Carrol Dolan, John Dolan (more recently), etc. Brandoid (talk) 23:21, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Merging

I am not satisfied with the arguments here to justify merging Gary Brecher with John Dolan. Back to the grindstone. comment left by 64.166.237.10

I see no reason to merge. John Dolan is a real person, and is "of note" enough to have an article. Even if Gary Brecher is a alter ego of Dolan's, that character himself is probably MORE notable than Dolan and even MORE deserving of his own article :) --Fxer 07:59, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

No need to merge here: Dolan is a stand alone, real live, actual person who likes to don, from time to time, particular personae--as do many authors, poets, writers, and other people of text. --Poetess 15:07, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

Agreed. A reference, at most, would suffice. Brandoid (talk) 23:21, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
