It is said that Bauer was considering travelling by train instead of a ferry, but ironically reconsidered as he regarded it as an unsafe means of transport.

im from sweden, and the word is "Charkuteri" in swedish and the english form is at least "charcuterie" and "pork butcher's shop". source: http://lexin2.nada.kth.se/cgi-bin/swe-eng
