[edit] Really really REALLY needs a source!

"Schlick . . . later slept with Nelböck's wife." You can not leave this unsourced; how is a reader to know whether this was a fact, or merely a lie disseminated by the Nazis in order to ameliorate Nelbock's culpability by defaming Schlick? It really needs a source. Hi There 14:46, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sources

I've added a couple, but it's difficult to find anything reliable in any language that has much to say about Nelböck beyond the fact that he shot Schlick, and it remains unclear exactly what N's grievances against S were. The story about S sleeping with N's wife gets mentioned, sometimes in an alternative form that they fell out over a female student of Schlick's, but not on the more authoritative sites. Obviously all information was heavily propagandised from the start. No idea what he did in and after the war, although it seems he survived it.HeartofaDog 01:19, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
