Design engineer: Johan Sandström, Born 1977, Umeå, Sweden. Education: Master of Engineer and Design.

Design history: During the "Year of Design 2005" in Sweden, over 8.000 people took part in a vote in order to pick out smart and unique interior design. One of the most brilliant design concepts among the 5.000 entrants was Johan Sandström's smart shelf for unexploited spaces. With the slogan "Less useless use" Johan introduced a new way of using and placing furniture.
