Johnny Perry

Johnny Wade Perry Jr. (October 24, 1972 - November 21, 2002) was a top strongman competitor from Zebulon, North Carolina. At 6'5" and 375 pounds, he was one of the largest competitors ever to compete in the World's Strongest Man contest. Perry finished fourth in the finals in the 2002 World's Strongest Man competition.[1]

Perry died abruptly on November 21, 2002 from possibly an aggravated and enlarged heart[2]. He was ranked the 4th strongest man in the world by the International Federation of Strength Athletes at the time of his death.
