John B. Walton (born October 4, 1947 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina) was a former professional American football quarterback, who played four seasons in the NFL for the Philadelphia Eagles. He later played with the Boston Breakers of the USFL, and earlier he played for the San Antonio Wings of the WFL.

Following his retirement, he returned to Elizabeth City, where he serves as a teacher and a member of the city council.
