John William Lieb (February 12, 1860 in Newark, New Jersey - November 1, 1929 in New Rochelle, New York) was a renowned American electrical engineer for the Edison Electric Light Company. He received the IEEE Edison Medal for "the development and operation of electric central stations for illumination and power."
