John W. Green (judge)

John William Green (November 9, 1781 – February 4, 1834) was a lawyer and judge.
Born in Culpeper County, Virginia, he was educated as a lawyer and then served in the war of 1812. He later became one of the chancellors of the state and was elected a judge of the Court of Appeals in 1822. He held that position until his death.
