John Sharrock (born February 16, 1944) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Geelong in the VFL during the 1960s.
Sharrock played most of his career as a half forward flanker and was a premiership player in his first season at Geelong, in 1963. He spent a lot of 1966 at fullback and excelled, finishing third in the Brownlow Medal count. In 1968 he suffered a career ending knee injury during a game of tennis and despite having represented Victoria at interstate football earlier in the season it would be his last year in the game.
