John Wesley Sawyer (born November 26, 1953 in Brookhaven, Mississippi) is a former professional American football player. Sawyer played in 10 NFL seasons from 1975-1984 for the Houston Oilers, the Seattle Seahawks, the Washington Redskins and the Denver Broncos. He played college football at The University of Southern Mississippi.
