John Parkurst (1511/12 - February 2, 1574/75) was the Bishop of Norwich.[2]
He was born in Guildford, County Surrey, England. Educated at Magdalen College School, Oxford, and Merton College, Oxford.
John Jewel was his pupil while he was a fellow of Merton.
