John O'Halloran

John O’Halloran is a former Irish sportsperson. He played hurling with his local club Blackrock and with the Cork senior inter-county team throughout the 1960s. O’Halloran first tasted success in 1964 when he won a senior county championship medal with UCC. Two years later in 1966 he went on to win both Munster and All-Ireland titles following victories over Waterford and Kilkenny. In 1973 O’Halloran won a second county title, this time with Blackrock. This was later converted into a set of Munster and All-Ireland club titles.
