John Montgomery Dalton (November 9, 1900 - July 7, 1972) was a Governor of Missouri. He was a Democrat.
Dalton was born in Vernon County, Missouri in 1900. He began his professional career as an attorney in Kennett, Missouri. He served as the Attorney General of Missouri between 1953 and 1961. He served as the Governor between 1961 and 1965. He died in Jefferson City, Missouri in 1972.
His brother, Sidna P. Dalton, was the chief justice of the Missouri Supreme Court.
