John English (Australian politician)

John English was elected to the Queensland State Parliament for the seat of Redlands on 17 February 2001. On 11 October 200 he was appointed Chairman of Committees (Deputy Speaker).
He is a member of the Australian Labor Party.
Prior to his election he was a police officer.
