John Dockery is a sportscaster and former New York Jets player in the American Football League in 1968 and 1969. He was drafted by the Jets out of Harvard. He also played in the NFL after 1969, for the Jets and the Steelers.
Following his retirement, Dockery went on to co-host Sports Extra on WNYW Channel 5 in New York City with Bill Mazer.
Dockery currently works on The NFL on Westwood One as their Monday Night Football sideline reporter. Prior to that, he served as a color analyst for the network's Sunday Night Football radiocast, as well as sideline reporter for other games.
