John Lawrence Didion (born October 24, 1947 in Woodland, California) is a former American football linebacker in the National Football League from 1969-1974. He played college football for Oregon State University, and after graduation went to the Washington Redskins. He stayed there for two seasons before going to the New Orleans Saints in 1971, where he would stay until the end of his career. Since 1998 he has been the sherriff of Pacific County, Washington
