John Dalrymple, 7th Earl of Stair

John William Henry Dalrymple, 7th Earl of Stair (b. 16 November 1784 - d. 22 March 1840) was the son of General William Dalrymple and Marianne Dorothy Harland. He incurred great scandal over his bigamous, but short-lived, second marriage.

He married, firstly, Johanna Gordon, daughter of Charles Gordon, on 28 May 1804. He married, secondly, Lady Laura Manners, daughter of John Manners and Louisa Tollemache, Countess of Dysart, on 2 June 1808. He and Johanna Gordon were divorced in 1809. He and Lady Laura Manners were divorced on 16 July 1811. John Dalrymple's marriage to Johanna Gordon was annulled in June 1820.

He died on 22 March 1840 aged 55 in Paris without issue and was succeeded by a cousin.
