John Cuthbert Hedley

Bishop John Cuthbert Hedley (b. 1838, Morpeth, Northumberland - d. 11 November 1915), a British cleric and writer, was educated at Ampleforth College.
A member of the Benedictines he succeeded Bishop Brown as Bishop of Newport and Menevia.

Shortly after his death the diocese became the Archdiocese of Cardiff.
