John P. Cassidy (born 1857 in Brooklyn, New York died July 2, 1891 in New York, New York) was a outfielder in Major League Baseball in the 19th century. He played from 1875-1885. He was a pitcher in his first season, 1875, with the Brooklyn Atlantics but went 1-20 that season and was moved to the outfield the following year.
