John C. Erickson is the founder of Erickson Retirement Communities, the Erickson Tribune, NorthBay Adventure, and Retirement Living TV. He is also a very notable philanthropist in and around the state of Maryland, with donations to UMBC, where he has various campus buildings named for him.
