John Blayney was a soccer player who played in Ireland in the 1890s.
Blayney was a forward on the amateur Bohemians of the 1890s[1]. He was one of Bohs' most important players of their early club history.
His talents didn't go unnoticed and he was often picked on the Leinster representative teams alongside his Bohemian team mates Sheehan and Wilson.
John later moved to Catholic University but continued to be picked on the Leinster XI[2].
