John Ashton (guitarist)

John Ashton (born 30 December 1967, at Whips Cross Hospital, Forest Gate, East London, England), is a British musician, songwriter and record producer. He is also a guitarist in the Psychedelic Furs.
In addition to his duties in the Furs, Ashton has been an active producer, and has worked on a number of projects including Marianne Faithfull, The Sisters of Mercy, Red Betty, and Seven Color Sky.
Ashton currently resides in Woodstock, New York.
