John A. Snively

John Andre Snively was a pioneering citrus grower in Florida and Georgia, USA. At one point his companies were responsible for one-third of the Florida citrus crop.[1]

Snively was the son of F.B. Snively of Schellsburg, Pennsylvania.[2] . He settled in Winter Haven, Florida about 1910.[3]

The "John A. Snively Elementary School" in Winter Haven, Florida was named after him. He was also the grandfather of musician Gram Parsons.
