Johann Strauss is the name of three famous Austrian composers:

Johann Strauss I (1804-1849), or Johann Strauss Sr., composer, popularizer of the waltz
Johann Strauss II (1825-1899), or Johann Strauss Jr., composer, known as the "Waltz King", son of Johann I. Composer of Die Fledermaus
Johann Strauss III (1866-1939), composer, son of Eduard Strauss and grandson of Johann I
