Johann Daniel Mylius

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Johann Daniel Mylius (c. 1583-1642) was a composer for the lute, and writer on alchemy. He was a chemistry pupil of Johann Hartmann (1568-1613).[2]

He is known for the collection Thesaurus gratiarum (1622) of pieces for the lute.[1]. In the same year was published his Philosophia Reformata.[3]. The Opus medico-chymicum, another and very long alchemical work, was published in 1618.
