I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

[edit] Album articles
Greetings, JoeD80. Recently you created some new album articles. Thanks, they look good. When creating new album articles, it's usually best to follow the guidelines at Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums#Naming. The first choice is to name the article after the album, e.g. "Sunfighter". If that name is taken, the article name can have "(album)" at the end, e.g. "Balin (album)". If that name is taken, the article name can have "(name-of-artist album)" at the end, e.g. "Earth (Jefferson Starship album)".
Based on these guidelines, I suggest renaming the following articles.
- "Software (Grace Slick album)" to "Software (album)"
- "Manhole (Grace Slick album)" to "Manhole (album)"
- "Better Generation (album)" to "Better Generation"
You can rename an article by clicking the "Move" tab at the top of the article and following the instructions. For more information, see Help:Moving a page#How to.
Also, when you've created a new album article, you can put the WikiProject Albums banner on the article's Talk page, to help members of the project find the article. To do that, go to the article's Talk page and add the project banner template by saving this text there: {{Album}}
Thanks! (If you reply here I will see what you say.) — Mudwater 10:55, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:PERRO Paul Kantner album.jpg
- I fixed the fair use rationale by correcting the name of the article that includes the album cover image. — Mudwater (Talk) 15:21, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Crown of Creation
All right, that's cool. (I replaced your double-hyphens with en dashes – it's in the box with all the odd characters, first one next to "Insert:") How do you know that "steel balls" refers to a Newton's cradle? If you don't, that's original research and you should remove the link. Also, if you have the original album, you should fill out and add this citation: Template:Cite_album-notes. See On Through the Night for an example of how I used it. —Zeagler (talk) 21:46, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
- Perfect. Wait...almost: is "Vinyl inset" supposed to be insert? —Zeagler (talk) 00:32, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
