[edit] Sebok/Smith bet

Question about the bet between Sebok and Gavin Smith for the 2006 WSOP - did the H.O.R.S.E. event count for the bet? I thought it only counted hold'em events, since that's all Sebok plays. Bigdottawa 05:25, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

I'm fairly sure it was across all events. Haven't seen anything to say otherwise. Essexmutant 07:46, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
Thought I had seen it on Sebok's site, here it is...

" All hold'em events from event #2 through event #37 at the WSOP '06 will be used in the final tally. The ESPN World Series Player of the Year points will be the scoring system employed." Bigdottawa 15:22, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

The $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. event isn't hold'em, so it didn't count toward the bet. I have this on direct authority from Gavin and Joe, but they also discussed it on WSOP episodes of "The Circuit." BJ Nemeth 03:41, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
