Joey Diaz (some times credited as Joey "Coco" Diaz, and Joey Karate) (b.1957) is a Cuban-American stand-up comedian and actor, who has had many brief appearances in feature films. He is a supporter of legalizing medicinal marijuana and has a video blog. He is often mistaken for Vincent Pastore, the actor who plays Big Pussy on the Sopranos
Since December 2006, Joey has been a weekly guest and contributor to the Kevin Couch Show on XM's "National Lampoon Comedy Radio." Diaz is also a frequent guest on the "Tom Leykis Show."
In 2008, Joey Coco Diaz will star in the epic comedy, City of Shoulders and Noses, portraying a mason who uncovers clues that help solve the mystery of his father-in-law's murder. The film is being produced by Tommy Ardolino, Sybil Danning, and George Parra.
Joey's first comedy CD/DVD is also slated for a 2008 release.
