Joel M. Nelson is an American surrealist poet and postmodern short story writer. He is a staff reader for the Mochila Review and assistant edited Cosmic Brownies, (ISBN 0-9755955-7-1) a poetry anthology edited by Pamela June Kimmell and published by Sun Rising Poetry Press, and including a poem submitted by Maya Angelou.
His work has appeared in Washing the Color of Water Golden, TYPO Magazine, Who's Who in International Poetry, and various anthologies.
